playing with the familiar shapes observed in shadows. I created forms that captured a sense of the lazy and unhurried energy that I imagine shadows have. Lazy curves form a twisted and curved tubular space, somehow lacking the energy to leave its self made entropic nest of a metallic cage. Oxidized on the inside contours to give a shadow its own shadow
In an attempt to practice my soldering skills I made a few simple filigree type pieces. I incorporated lots of swooping curls and interlocking sections of flattened wire to make some adjustable type rings.
